We are proud to announce that our partner, Adrian Esquivel, has been selected to serve on the International Trademark Association (INTA) Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee
This appointment highlights Adrian’s long-standing commitment to advancing trademark law and promoting fair, effective brand protection worldwide.
In this role, Adrian will contribute to the development and advocacy of INTA’s policies surrounding high-profile marks, ensuring that legal frameworks across jurisdictions recognize their unique value while maintaining an equitable balance for all market participants. The committee’s mandate includes monitoring global developments in treaties, case law, legislation, and regulatory changes that impact the protection of well-known trademarks.
Adrian and his fellow committee members will undertake in-depth analyses of emerging issues and prepare policy recommendations for INTA’s Board of Directors. Their work will also involve drafting reports and submissions, engaging in advocacy efforts, and collaborating with other INTA committees and staff to build cohesive and forward-looking policy positions.
Adrian’s selection reflects his expertise and leadership in trademark law, and we look forward to the meaningful contributions he will bring to INTA’s influential policy initiatives.
